Here are the top stories today in Alpharetta-Milton:
- The City Pool at Milton City Park and Preserve (1785 Dinsmore Road) is open now; you can use it every day until 8 p.m. It will be closed during Milton Mustangs swim meets. It is a nice spot to cool off and enjoy a swim! Here is a link for information on hours, how to purchase passes, adult swim etc. www.miltonga.gov/Pool. (City of Milton)
- An Alpharetta woman was scammed out of $40,000 earlier this month. She received an email that said her accounts had been fraudulently used for $10,000 in charges, and instructed her to transfer all her funds into a new account. She followed the instructions and made a transfer of $40,000 using a “Bitcoin ATM on Old Milton Parkway” into a bogus account. Later, she contacted her bank and found out the email was a scam. (Appen)
- Multiple car break ins were recently reported in Alpharetta. They occured at homes and businesses on Fanfare Way, Davis Drive, Haynes Bridge Road and Mansell Road. The thieves broke car windows and stole items valued at over $10,000 including electronics and luxury items. There were no security cameras at the locations of the thefts. (Appen)
- Roswell residents found anti-Jewish flyers on their driveways last weekend. They were distributed in the Edenwilde subdivision early on Sunday morning. This follows similar flyers that were left in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs earlier this year. Police are investigating these flyers. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)

- Good news for fans of CRU Food & Wine Bar — there are plans to include another one in a new development in Johns Creek. This will be the third location in Atlanta area; there is one in the Alpharetta Avalon. (What Now Atlanta)
