Blockchain-based MMORPG Domi Online is set to open a 24-hour open stress test on September 30, starting at 17:00 UTC.
Players will have the opportunity to explore a limited part of the game’s world and engage with various gameplay features, helping developers gather data necessary for optimizing the game’s infrastructure.
This test is designed to assess server performance under heavy user load before its official release.
What is Domi Online?
Domi Online is an upcoming MMORPG built on blockchain technology, aiming to offer a distinct experience by removing traditional constraints like level and skill caps.
The game focuses on strategic planning and combat, requiring players to carefully manage resources and think tactically. It is set in a medieval fantasy world where exploration and survival are key elements, differentiating it from more conventional MMOs that rely on typical mechanics such as fast travel and daily quests.
Development of the game began in 2021, and it is expected to be available on Windows PCs through its own launcher as well as on Steam.
What to expect during the Stress Test?
During the 24-hour stress test, participants will have access to a limited version of the game’s alpha build.
Players can download the game for free and create an account to explore a restricted area of the virtual world. Activities will include combat, skill practice, and social interactions like chatting and using emotes. Whilst any character progress made during the test will be reset afterward, player accounts will remain active for future use.
The stress test aims to simulate high player activity in a condensed timeframe, enabling the development team to identify and address any server-related issues. This will provide crucial information for ensuring a stable and smooth experience when the game is fully launched.
The official release date will be determined based on the results of this testing phase, with more details to follow once the data has been analyzed.
