Tesla’s CEO confirmed that no crypto token was launched by Twitter or X.
Twitter is a popular social media platform in the world. In late 2022, Tesla CEO Elon Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion and recently he rebranded this company to X.com but people are still calling it the Twitter app, instead X app. Musk aimed to bring every online possible service under X’s empire, including Crypto & fiat payment.
On 5 Aug 2023, the official UI & UX Dogecoin (Doge) designer noted that few articles surfaced in the internet world & claimed that Twitter/X launched X token, Twitter token, etc.
This Dogecoin designer confirmed that Tesla CEO & also X company never launched any kind of crypto token, so all the people needed to remain away from any kind of such crypto tokens.
X owner Elon Musk also responded to the Dogecoin designer’s tweet and added that X will never launch any crypto token in the future.
Twitter/X token rumours
Since Dec 2022, the crypto community came across several rumours, reports, & claims that the Twitter/X team was/is planning to launch a new token.
Some reports claimed that X will use the new crypto token to distribute money to the X creators.
So far neither X nor Musk talked about any such kind of plan and the latest tweet by Musk confirmed that X will never launch any crypto token.
Tesla’s CEO is himself a crypto Investor. He invests his money in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin only. He also believes that Dogecoin will be the future’s cryptocurrency.
Following the latest tweet by Musk, the trade price of Dogecoin surged by 2%.
