Sony And Netflix Launches ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ NFTs
In a March 25 blog post, Sony Pictures, through its Soneium X account, confirmed partnering with Yoake, a Japanese pop culture protocol focused on bringing entertainment to the masses. The two have joined forces to bring “The Seven Deadly Sins,” one of the most iconic anime franchises on Netflix, into the world of NFTs. This first-of-its-kind NFT collection marks a major turning point for anime NFTs, fan engagement, and the future of digital ownership.

Sony Pictures Entertainment is a diversified multinational mass media and entertainment studio conglomerate that produces, acquires, and distributes filmed entertainment products, including animated series, television programs, and recorded videos, through multiple platforms. In April 2021, Netflix and Sony Pictures Entertainment signed a deal in which Sony’s theatrical releases became available on Netflix within six months of their theatrical release, marking a significant pay-one-window agreement.
Through this collaboration, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Netflix have partnered with Yoake to produce legally licensed digital collectibles from The Seven Deadly Sins. Released in 2014, The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. This TV series is one of the best-selling anime series on Netflix, with over 55 million copies sold around the world.
‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ NFT Collection Overview
The Sony Pictures and Netflix NFT collection, titled “YOAKE & The Seven Deadly Sins Anime Series,” was officially launched on March 25, 2025, on OpenSea, one of the largest NFT market platforms. Soneium, a blockchain infrastructure from Sony Pictures Entertainment, powers this NFT collection. The network will ensure a seamless and secure experience for fans and collectors.
In the meantime, the Yoake & The Seven Deadly Sins Anime Series NFT collection continues gaining massive traction among traders.
